Owning trading systems end to end, from exchange connectivity through to the tools traders use during the session. Small team, direct responsibility.
What the work involves
- Build and operate components of the live trading system
- Add venue connectivity and market data handling
- Support live trading and resolve issues during the session
- Improve monitoring and automated risk controls
What firms look for
- Strong C++ or Python in production systems
- Comfort operating systems that must not fail during the day
- Networking and Linux fundamentals
- Willingness to sit close to the desk and its priorities
- Trading systems background preferred
