For Traders

Your track record becomes a route to real capital

Trade as you already do. QuantStep verifies your performance at the account level, then puts that record in front of the firms that allocate.

What you get

A measured record, and the people who fund records like it.

Your existing accounts do the work

If you trade through a partner firm or track your performance in TraderWaves, alongside 110,000 other traders, your record is already being built. There is no separate challenge to pass and no new platform to learn.

A record that carries weight

A screenshot proves nothing and every allocator knows it. A QuantStep record is captured at source and measured continuously, which makes it the first version of your history that a professional counterparty can act on.

Discovery without the cold outreach

Rather than pitching funds who have no way to check your claims, you are surfaced to allocators when your record matches what they fund.

Consistency is the product

The criteria favour traders who manage risk over long periods. A steady record with controlled drawdowns will outrank a spectacular quarter, because that is what allocators are buying.

Getting Started

Three ways to connect

Whichever path you use, access is read-only. QuantStep never holds trade permissions, cannot place or close a position, and cannot move funds.

01

TraderWaves account

Link the account you already use. The performance data is synced, so measurement starts from the history that is already there.

02

Partner prop firm

Choose your firm and authorise the connection. Data flows through the integration QuantStep already runs with firms on YourPropFirm.

03

Direct platform connection

MT4 and MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, DXtrade and supported crypto exchanges, connected with read-only credentials or an investor password.

Methodology

How verification works

Performance is measured at the account level, through infrastructure the group already operates.
01

Connect

The trading account links through QTG infrastructure or an existing partner firm. Data is captured at source.

02

Measure

Every trade, position, and drawdown is recorded continuously. Nothing is self-reported and nothing is retrospectively editable.

03

Score

Performance is assessed against consistency, risk discipline, drawdown behaviour, and tenure over a minimum measurement period.

04

Match

Traders who clear an allocator's published criteria are surfaced to that allocator, with the trader's consent.

The trader never touches the data. That is the entire point.

Criteria

What is measured

The same four criteria every allocator scores against, measured continuously rather than sampled.

Consistency

How returns are distributed across the measured period, rather than concentrated in the months that flatter the record.

Risk discipline

Position sizing behaviour, leverage use and exposure, measured continuously and especially through adverse periods.

Drawdown behaviour

Depth, frequency and recovery pattern, across the full history with no gaps. Negative periods stay in the record.

Tenure

The length of continuous measured history. Every allocator sets their own minimum, and longer records clear more of them.

Consent

You control what is shared, and when

Your profile is anonymised by default. Nothing is shared without your explicit action, every consent is logged with its scope, and you can withdraw visibility at any time — which stops future matching without deleting your measured history.

Start the measurement

Six fields. We come back to you about connecting an account, and measurement runs from the history that is already there.

Apply as a trader

Connecting an account is read-only, and happens after approval — never in a form.

Questions traders ask

What does it cost a trader?

Nothing. QuantStep is paid by the capital side, not by traders. There is no challenge fee, no subscription and no charge to be measured.

Does QuantStep get access to my trading?

No. Access is read-only, always. QuantStep never holds trade permissions, cannot place or close a position, and cannot move funds. Credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you enter them.

Who can see my record?

Your profile is anonymised by default. Allocators see the measured record without your identity, and your name is revealed only after you accept an introduction. You can pause visibility at any time.

Are my losing months shown?

Yes, and that is the point. The full measured period is always shown, with no cherry-picking. A record that hides drawdowns is worth nothing to the person reading it.

Does a verified profile guarantee funding?

No. Verification establishes that your record is real and measured. Whether an allocator funds you, and on what terms, is their decision and is agreed directly with you.

How long before I qualify?

Measurement begins as soon as an account is connected, and existing synced history counts towards it. Each allocator sets its own minimum tenure, so there is no single threshold to clear.

Apply as a trader

Connect an account, let the measurement run, and see where your record stands against what allocators publish.

Trading carries risk of loss. Verification establishes that a record is real and measured; it is not a prediction, a rating, or an offer of capital. QuantStep does not guarantee funding, returns, or any allocation size, and is not a counterparty to any allocation agreed between a trader and an allocator. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
