Verification is not an offer of capital
A verified record means your trading history has been measured against a published methodology. It is not an offer, a promise or an indication that any firm will allocate to you. Allocators set their own criteria and make their own decisions, many verified traders are never funded, and we do not guarantee an introduction, a review or an outcome of any kind.
Past performance says nothing about the future
Every metric we publish — return, Sharpe, Sortino, drawdown, recovery, consistency — describes what already happened. A long measured record lowers the chance that results came from luck; it does not make future results likely, and a trader with an excellent record can lose money immediately afterwards.
Trading involves substantial risk
Trading leveraged instruments — FX, futures, options, CFDs, crypto — carries a high risk of loss, and losses can exceed the capital committed. Most retail traders lose money. Nothing on this site reduces that risk, and you should not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
We do not give advice
QuantStep is not a financial adviser, broker, dealer, fund manager or custodian, and provides no investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Metrics, rankings, comparisons and articles are information, not recommendations. Take your own professional advice before making any financial decision.
We never hold or move capital
QuantStep does not receive, hold, pool, route or manage client money or assets. Account access is read-only and we hold no trading or withdrawal permissions. Where capital is allocated, it moves between you and the allocating firm, on that firm’s infrastructure, under an agreement between you and them to which we are not a party.
Measurement has limits
We measure the data we receive. Incomplete history, an error at the source, a disputed account or a platform outage can all affect a record, and we may re-measure, correct, suspend or withdraw a verification when they do. Verification is not an audit and is not assurance that every underlying trade occurred as reported.
Firms you meet through QuantStep
Allocators, partner firms and the firms named on the careers board are independent of us. Listing or introducing one is not an endorsement or a warranty about it, and their terms, fees, risk limits and conduct are theirs. Do your own diligence before you sign anything.
Eligibility
The service is not directed at anyone in a jurisdiction where its use would be unlawful. You are responsible for checking that trading, and any allocation you accept, is permitted where you live.
