What the work involves
- Monitor trade flow and resolve breaks during the session
- Reconcile positions and cash across venues and clearers
- Coordinate with exchanges, brokers and clearing on issues
- Automate the parts of the process that repeat
What firms look for
- Operations or trade support experience in listed markets
- Understanding of clearing and settlement
- Excel plus scripting; Python is an advantage
- Composure when something breaks mid-session
- Attention to detail under time pressure
